Who is Pig Pink Insurance?

Pig Pink Insurance is the trading name of Coverit Solutions Pty Ltd and is an Authorised Representative for:

Breakdown Warranty and Car Rental Excess Refund Insurance;

How do I get a replacement product document?

In the event You lose or are unable to locate your product schedule, you may apply for a replacement document. A fee of $33 will be payable for this service. No fee will be charged if it is sent by email to you.

Why do I need a Pink Pig Insurance Breakdown Warranty product?

The risk of mechanical or electrical breakdown is completely random no matter your vehicles age or kilometres travelled. A Motor Vehicle has literally thousands of moving parts combined with the latest in computer technology. A Pink Pig Insurance Breakdown Warranty product, can protect you against expensive and unforeseen repairs.

With the complexity of today's Motor Vehicles, one medium-size repair could cost more than the purchase price of a Breakdown Warranty product.

Do all vehicles qualify for an Pink Pig Insurance Breakdown Warranty product?

Pink Pig Insurance does its best to cover all products but unfortunately based on underwriting guidelines and pricing factors some makes and models do not fall into our farmhouse and we will need to inform you that coverage is not available. Just place your registration details within our quoting mechanism and we will inform you about if your motor vehicle is acceptable


Claims

How do I make a claim?

We are focused on getting you back up and running sooner by providing you with a quick, seamless and stress-free claims experience.

Where are your approved repairers in my area?

To ensure the best possible service our approve repairer network is continually being updated; we review each repairer on a regular basis for quality of workmanship, pricing and customer satisfaction. As such an approved repairer today may not be an approved repairer in six months' time.

If you experience a possible claimable problem with your vehicle please contact us prior to authorising any work, as we will take all factors into consideration and direct you in to the appropriate specialist closest to you. i.e. mechanical, electrical, air-conditioning, steering etc.

Do I have to pay the approved repairer and wait for reimbursement?

No, we pay the Approved Repairer directly.


Servicing

Where can I service my vehicle?

Pink Pig Insurance strives to exceed every customer's expectations by providing you the flexibility to have your vehicle servicing carried out at a licenced workshop of your choice e.g. your local service centre or franchise dealership. It is only when you have a potential claim that we will direct you to an approved repairer. Please refer to your Breakdown Warranty product terms and conditions to confirm your servicing obligations.

Why do I have to submit copies of my service coupons and invoices?

If the unfortunate happens (i.e. A breakdown), our aim is to get you back on the road ASAP. In order to do so, your service history must be up to date. By not sending in your service receipts/coupons this may delay, reduce, or invalidate your ability to claim.

How often do I have to service my motor vehicle?

To maintain your Pink Pig Insurance Breakdown Warranty product and to ensure a quick claims approval, regular servicing needs to be carried out. We strive to exceed every customer's expectations by providing you the flexibility to have your service carried out at a licenced workshop of your choice. Please refer to your Breakdown Warranty product terms and conditions to confirm your servicing obligations.

How do I get more service coupons?

You can print additional service coupons from our partner's website.

For more information go to Product Search. Once you have found your Breakdown Warranty product you will be able to print out more coupons.


Transfer

Can I transfer my Breakdown Warranty product?

In most cases yes you can transfer the benefits of your Breakdown Warranty product to the new owner of your vehicle provided your Breakdown Warranty product is still valid.

Cancellation

Can I cancel my Breakdown Warranty product?

We are required by law to provide certain guarantees in providing Our Mechanical Breakdown product. If We fail to comply with Our obligations, You may be entitled to a remedy including cancellation of this Breakdown Warranty product and/or a refund. Cancellation requests must be made in writing at the address of P.O. Box 4301, LOGANHOLME, QLD, 4129. If We agree to cancel this Breakdown Warranty product, any refund calculation will be on a pro-rata basis less Our cancellation/administration costs and the costs of any authorised or paid Claims.

If the premium is financed, any refund will be made to the financier or as the financier directs Us to pay.

We may cancel the Breakdown Warranty product if:

  • You fail to comply with your obligations;
  • You, or a person acting on your behalf, or otherwise with your knowledge, provide false or misleading information in relation to the cover or a claim;
  • If the Motor Vehicle's odometer has been tampered with, is altered, inoperative or defective;
  • If the Motor Vehicle has at any time been used for rallying, racing, and competitive driving or tested for any motorsports activities.
